Sam Faiers Weight Loss — The Routine That Helped Her Lose Almost 2 Stone

'The Only Way is Essex' star Sam Faiers had to make changes to her eating habits since she was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease in 2014. The condition makes parts of the digestive system of a person inflamed, so her diet changes had to include the food items which only she could digest.

According to MayoClinic, Crohn's Disease causes inflammation of the digestive tract, which can lead to abdominal pain, severe diarrhea, fatigue, loss of weight, and malnutrition. Following the diagnosis, Sam Faiers underwent dramatic weight loss, some portion of which was also due to the disease. But the significant factors in her weight reduction can be credited to her healthy diet and intense workout routines. Let's take a look at how the reality star's journey went.

After Her Breakup from Joey, Sam Faiers Lost 23 Pounds of Body Weight

Sam Faiers' weight loss journey began from her split with the ex-boyfriend Joey Essex. The reality star once revealed to Daily Mail that 'she previously put on weight by comforting eating when in the relationship.' But after the breakup, all of that changed.

Sam made some significant changes to her lifestyle, and especially after she learned that she had Crohn's disease, she had to careful on what she ate. That, along with intense workouts every day helped her achieve a fit body. She lost 23 pounds of body weight ultimately, and lost three inches off her waist, shrinking from size 10 to size 8. How was she able to achieve that?

Sam Faiers Had a Strict Diet Plan

First of all, Sam had to change her eating habits, but it was not easy. As she told Daily Mail, she always had a soft spot for Chinese food; chicken chow mein, crisps, and biscuits. She had difficulty avoiding these to switch to much healthier diets.

Sam had a strong determination to attain a fit and healthy body. She had to eat the right food products too; those food items which could only be digested by her Crohn's illness affecting the digestive system. Sam made several changes to her diet. She started by cutting out carbohydrates, alcohol, and fast foods from her eating list. She instead added healthier options like porridge, chicken salads, and prawn stir-fries.

Sam also had to get rid of another bad habit: Snacking. She replaced the unhealthy continuous eating with Forza Supplements' Raspberry K2 diet pills. But it is not easy. She explains to Daily Mail

If I start reaching for the biscuit tin or the crisps, I just take one of the Forza K2 capsules, and it satisfies my craving. They give me that little bit of extra help in getting in shape - they are like a diet in a bottle.

In this article from Women's Magazine, Sam discusses in elaborate detail about her daily diet to cope with her Crohn's illness and attain a healthy, fit body.

Sam Faiers Had Intensive Workout Routines with a Certified Trainer

With changes in eating behavior, she also incorporated intense exercise routine alongside it. It was an essential part of her weight loss journey, and she worked hard every day to make it work.

She included it in her daily schedule to wake up at 5:30 every morning to involve in intense workout sessions. She hit the gym, and under the supervision of a certified trainer, she did grueling workouts everyday. And her hard work paid off. She now has a fit and toned body, that has many of her fans drooling over her. Her new figure also got voted best bikini body after that, and Sam's never been much happier.

She shares her excitement to Daily Mail, saying, "I didn't need to lose a lot of weight - I just needed to tone up my body and put a bit of muscle on. I'll always be a curvy girl, and I will never be skinny. I am quite happy with that."
