Porsche lost 39 pounds. This mother of five is transforming her body and lifestyle with healthy food and lots of exercise, with help from her trainer and nutritionist. Her husband and children are her motivation, and they are cheering her on every step of the way.

What was your motivation?
My husband. I always talked to him about trying to improve myself. I have given up so many times. This time it feels different because I feel like I’m unstoppable, and I want it badly. I’m motivated by him because he always cheers me on. He is standing in my corner every time I go to the gym. When I don’t want to go, he always has encouraging things to say.

My five kids also motivate me. They see me going to the gym, and they say, “Good job, Mommy! You getting skinnier.” and I always laugh. My children ask if they can come to the gym and they want to eat like me. I just want to play with them and be there for them.

What inspired you to start your weight loss journey?
One day I took a picture, and I could see how big I looked. I was so disappointed with what I saw. I couldn’t believe I let myself go like that.
I’d saw Fitness on Fire‘s page on Instagram, and I’d been following the page for a while. Seeing all those amazing women dropping dress sizes so quickly is what made me want to do something about my situation ASAP. I would say to myself, “Wow, that could never be me.” because it seemed very hard to do. Then I said to myself, “When will it ever be the right time for you, Porsche?” I decided to send NutritionistGuru a message to find out how to get started.
Fitness on Fire was easy to commit to. NutritionistGuru and King of Fire bring guidance and knowledge to the table. NutritionistGuru knows her stuff. I believe in the program so much that I knew I couldn’t lose.

How did you change your eating habits?
I was determined. I followed the guidance, food list, and eating plan that my online nutritionist, NutritionistGuru, gave me. She provided information on healthy snacks and a structure for eating balanced meals. I ate more foods that properly fueled my body – more veggies, protein, fiber, fruits, and water.

What did your workout consist of?
I followed the workout regimen created for me by my online trainer, King of Fire. I would be in the gym six days a week and 2 1/2 hours a day. The plan consisted of resistance training.
How long did your transformation take?
It took 2 1/2 months. I started seeing results in the 1st week of starting the program.

What advice do you have for women who want to lose weight?
Start when you know you are fed up with what you see in your mirror and what you see in pictures because that will serve as the fire to get you going.
